Welcome to Tap and Learn Animals. We take the privacy of our young users and their parents very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we do and do not collect while you use our mobile application.

2. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our app is intended for children. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, we do not show behavioral advertising, and external links and purchases are placed behind a parental gate.

3. Analytics & Data We Collect

We use Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc.) to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Amplitude collects anonymous usage data only:

  • In-app actions and events (for example, which game modes and categories are opened, quiz answers, screens viewed);
  • Session and app-lifecycle data;
  • Basic technical data (device model, operating system version, app version, language).

This data is used solely for internal operations — measuring feature usage and reliability to improve the app.

4. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Precise or approximate location, or IP-based geolocation (IP address collection is disabled);
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or the vendor identifier (IDFV);
  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any directly identifying personal information.

Analytics data is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising or cross-app/website tracking, and is never sold.

5. Third-Party Services

Analytics data is processed by Amplitude under its own privacy policy: https://amplitude.com/privacy. Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple via the App Store; Apple processes payment and we never receive your card details. Our app contains no third-party advertising.

6. Data Security

Data sent to our analytics provider is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We collect the minimum data needed and do not store personal information about your child.

7. Your Choices & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of analytics data associated with your device by contacting us at the address below. Uninstalling the app stops all further data collection.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
